DESCRIPTION:  The archbishops and bishops of the Church of England have advised all churches to close completely during the government lockdown to both to reduce travel and to help to model best practice in maintaining social distance. Additionally, they have developed a guidance document on how to care and secure the church buildings during the lockdown.
