DESCRIPTION: This piece by Amanullah De Sondy examines the ways in which COVID-19 is changing Islam within the context of Ramadan observance. Dr. De Sondy, a Senior Lecturer in the Study of Religions Department at the University of Cork, is a global expert on Islam, Gender, and Sexuality.
