Background:  This report summarizes work carried out in collaboration between the Interfaith Health Program and the African Religious Health Assets Programme with funding from the World Health Organization. This work provided an essential foundation for applied research in religious health assets mapping. This work continues to inform key activities of IHP, particularly its recent work in Kenya.
